The most dramatic change in the McDonald’s menu
McDonald’s or McD is one of the most famous hamburger restaurant chains from America. Richard and Maurice McDonald started it as a barbeque restaurant in 1940. They reformed their grill restaurant as a hamburger stand in 948 and expanded the business to Phoenix in 1953. Since then, the restaurant chain has undergone unprecedented growth and went on to become one of the largest restaurant chains in the world. Now, the outlets of McDonald’s are spread across 119 countries. It serves a variety of fast food products like French fries, cheeseburgers, chicken wings, wraps, soft drinks, fruit shakes and desserts.
All the McDonald’s outlets are organized either by a franchise, an affiliate branch or the head office. The main headquarters of the food chain company is located in Oak Brook, Illinois. Later on June 13, 2016, McDonald’s announced the relocation of its headquarters to Near West Side.
The vast popularity of the restaurant chain all over the world is mainly due to their excellent menu, unique taste and top notch customer services. McDonald’s keeps on experimenting with new dishes and revamping its menu. With the help of a team of world’s most amazing chefs, McDonald’s has been winning its customers’ hearts every time.
In 2016, the restaurant chain announced an interesting inclusion of fresh beef patties on the menu. The addition was immediately carried out in about 75 restaurants in Northeast Oklahoma after a successful test in Dallas-Forth Worth area. The company had received an enormous amount of positive reviews during the testing period in Dallas – Forth Worth Area. The never frozen beef will be used in the Quarter Pound Burger varieties namely Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger, the Double Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger, the Quarter Pounder Deluxe, and the Bacon Clubhouse Burger. The new patty is made from 100% North American beef meat and is seasoned simply with salt and pepper only The food chain company claims that the new burger is much juicier, fresher and fulfilling than the original burgers. This big step was taken mainly to compete for the long-standing rival Wendy’s who has been using fresh beef patties as a major attraction for the customers.
The new strategy of using the authentic 100% non-frozen beef will definitely be a tough challenge for McDonald’s to complete. However, if successfully carried out, the restaurant chain will gain a huge popularity amongst the people with delicious and juicier burgers.
